Mitchell Silver, Esq.

Mr. Silver was born in Smithtown, New York in 1972 and attended grade school in Long Island, New York. After a summer of pre-undergrad study at Harvard University, he attended Binghamton University in New York where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 with a double major in Law and Society, and History. While an undergraduate, Mr. Silver lived for a semester in London, England where he worked in a Solicitors law office and focused upon comparative international law.

After earning his Bachelors of Arts at Binghamton University, Mr. Silver attended Law School at the University of Notre Dame, one of the most prestigious law schools in the nation. Mr. Silver was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 1997. Following law school, Mr. Silver was admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey.

Mr. Silver began his legal career in New York, and moved to Florida in 1999 commencing work as an Assistant State Attorney for Seminole County, where he prosecuted misdemeanor crimes. He then worked for over a decade as a trial lawyer at a large AV rated civil litigation law firm in Central Florida before proudly opening his own practice, The Silver Law Firm, P.A. with his wife Teresa Albanese Silver.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Silver enjoys travel, playing piano and running.

Teresa Albanese Silver, Esq.

Teresa Albanese Silver was born in New York City and attended grade school in Carmel, New York. She attended Binghamton University and earned her Bachelors’ of Arts in 1994 with a double major in Law and Society, and Italian. During her undergraduate years, she was an assistant instructor of a course in Public Law. After graduating from Binghamton University, she attended New York Law School and earned her Juris Doctorate in 1997. After law school, Ms. Silver was admitted to practice law in both Florida and New York State.

After beginning her career as a civil litigator in New York, Ms. Silver relocated to Florida in 1999. She joined a prestigious civil law firm in Orlando, Florida before working as staff counsel for one of the largest automobile insurance companies in the nation. After working of counsel to two law firms in Orlando, Ms. Silver proudly opened her own practice, The Silver Law Firm, P.A. with her husband, Mitchell Silver, Esq.
