Mitchell Silver

Mr. Silver was born in Smithtown, New York and attended grade school in Long Island, New York. After a summer of pre-undergraduate study at Harvard University, he attended Binghamton University in New York where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 with a double major in Law and Society, and History.

While an undergraduate, Mr. Silver lived for a semester in London, England where he worked in a Solicitors law office and focused upon comparative international law.

After earning his Bachelors of Arts at Binghamton University, Mr. Silver attended Law School at the University of Notre Dame, one of the most prestigious law schools in the nation. Mr. Silver was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 1997. Following law school, Mr. Silver was admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey.

Mr. Silver began his legal career in New York, and moved to Florida in 1999 commencing work as an Assistant State Attorney for Seminole County, where he prosecuted misdemeanor crimes. He then worked for over a decade as a trial lawyer at a large AV rated civil litigation law firm in Central Florida before proudly opening his own practice, The Silver Law Firm, P.A. with his wife Teresa Albanese Silver.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Silver enjoys travel, playing piano and running.
